Living a greener lifestyle comes in many shapes and forms and every family is different. For starters, plant trees, pick up litter, and reduce consumption of products that create waste as best you can. Teach your kids to do their part, too.

Earth Day recycling can be a great reminder for tasks we’ve pushed aside. This could be a good time of year to tackle that shredding pile at home. You might also make time to drop off unwanted metal to the scrapyard where it can find a second life. Bring yard waste and cardboard to the township to transform it into mulch, and then come back for mulch in a few weeks. Every little bit helps our world as small things add up to bigger things.
