Summer Movie Specials
In case you were wondering, the best summer movie specials are the deals you remember to take advantage of! This guide covers every summer movie program I could find in or near Montgomery County and Berks County. Besides, sometimes a little drive outside is worth the fun you’ll find.
In conclusion, some of the top summer movie discounts include:
- Free Movies in the Park, on the Lawn, or Under the Stars – Free! (See summer movie schedule.)
- Regal Summer Dollar Movies – $1 with snack packs available for $3 (Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
- AMC Summer Movie Camp – $4 plus tax, includes Kids Pack (Wednesdays)
- Movie Tavern – $3 (Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday at 10 a.m.)
- The Grand Theater – Same great deals all year long! (Daily matinees $4 and evening showings $5)
- Boyertown State Theatre – $1 (Wednesdays and Thursdays at 10 a.m.)
Certainly, these summer movie discounts are enough to keep your family busy on the cheap. If you don’t want to spend the money, you can always opt for the free outdoor movie night options or host your own movie nights inside or outside. Also, you might be surprised to learn that you can host your own outdoor movie screenings in the comforts of your own yard. All you’ll need is an outdoor movie screen (sometimes an inflatable one), a decent projector, a sound system, and the media player from which you’ll stream your movies. Ensure convenient access to a power source as well. A really cool inflatable mega movie screen also enhances your outdoor living spaces, particularly your poolside lounge, and collapses when not in use. This would be an awesome Father’s Day gift hookup — just sayin’. :))
Last Tip: Kids Free Movies
After a major incident with the Red Turtle (which I cannot recommend for small children), we always try to look up the children’s movies on CommonSenseMedia.org before we head to the movies, buy a new BluRay, or put on a movie for Friday movie night at home. So, I hope you enjoy this massive list of free kids movies your family can enjoy this summer. If I’ve missed any free movies that you know of, please leave a comment below and I’ll add it!
